A 1990s Roleplay Experience

The Gangs of New York gamemode is a unique, first of its kind, roleplay experience. Built from the ground up, our gamemode offers features never seen before on other Garry's Mod roleplay platforms. Designed with intuitive gameplay in mind, our gamemode is built for the players, all mechanics are accessible in-game with no third-party applications required to play. Below is a list of our features.

Real Estate

Choose from over 90+ properties on the map to buy or rent for a certain number of hours, days or even weeks. You can purchase property for yourself, your company, or for your faction.

Faction Creation

Create your own criminal faction in-game. After meeting basic requirements and having enough people, fill out information about your faction and the rest is in your hands.

Faction Customization

Customize your faction to fit your needs. Adjust its color, rules, message of the day, motto, and more all from within the settings tab in game.

Inventory

Browse and store items in your inventory. The inventory is built on a simple weight-based storage system, with an easy-to-use inteface organized by category.

Faction Ranks

Customize your faction's rank system to your liking. Adjust names, permissions, and hierarchy. Create new ranks or edit existing ones to fit your faction's theme.

Bank Storage

Store excess inventory in your personal bank. Just visit an ATM on the map and begin storing or retrieving items.

Car Dealer

Choose from a wide selection of time period vehicles to buy or sell. With both a used and luxury car dealership, there are tons of options to accommodate your gameplay.

Vehicle Customization

Full customization options for your vehicle. Adjust the colors, skin, and bodygroups to your heart's content. Just visit the repair shop in Hillside and enter the garage.

Vehicle Storage

Store or retrieve vehicles from your garage. With locations all around the map, you are always guaranteed easy access to your vehicle inventory.

Quick Inventory

Don't want to go into the main menu to access your inventory? No problem, just hold down C to open your quick inventory, for easy use.

Weapon Crafting

Study over 170 different blueprints to unlock crafting recipes. Smelt ore and acquire different parts to assemble the final product.

Firearm Customization

Choose from over 190 weapons, encompassing everything from crude melee objects and simple pistols to fully-automatic machine guns and rocket launchers. Customize your weapon with a wide range of attachment types to suit whatever combat scenario you find yourself in.
